    Devan is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Northern Essex Community College. With a passion for integrating innovative technology into education, Devan focuses on utilizing artificial intelligence and virtual worlds to enhance learning experiences in climate science. Devan believes that by leveraging the power of AI interfaces and immersive environments, students can gain a deeper understanding of complex scientific concepts, fostering a greater appreciation for our planet and the challenges it faces. Devan holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Brandeis University and an M.A. in Learning Engineering from Boston College. He has most recently worked on publications related to educational interfaces for LLMs.
