Could easily be adapted based on changes in state law/updated resources. The instructional strategies and overall supports are aligned with sustainable long term practices.
Material is written in a way that is accessible for undergraduate students.
The text includes a consistent format with each disability category receiving a chapter that follows a distinct pattern.
Since each disability is a chapter, it could easily be utilized in parts.
Layout is clean, organized, and the embedded links are clickable and provide access to additional resources.
Images, videos, and graphics were clear.
I did not find any grammatical errors.
No offensive content, would suggest pairing with a culturally responsive framework and intersectionality framework.
I think this is an accessible usable text that could be supplemented with additional readings for a lower division introduction to SPED course. The individual chapters and broad overview of IDEA and eligibility categories are presented in a clear, consistent, and organized fashion.
