It is not intended as a guide to be followed through a series of skills, but rather as a resource to support the problem-solving process and help lower conceptual and computational barriers along the way.","contributors":[{"id":4978,"contribution":"Author","primary":true,"corporate":false,"title":null,"first_name":"Pete","middle_name":"L.","last_name":"Moore","location":"Iowa State University","background_text":"Pete L. I have taught this topic for over a decade under various names. I was happily surprised to find a Quantitative Literacy text focused on a specific field. This is causing me to rethink my approach to my course in that I am going to create threads of problems connected to specific majors, rather than the typically more generic problems. I will definitely be referencing this text in my work!","created_at":"2020-07-01T14:34:52.000-05:00","updated_at":"2020-07-01T14:34:52.000-05:00"}],"url":"https://open.umn.edu/opentextbooks/textbooks/quantitative-problem-solving-in-natural-resources?locale=es","updated_at":"2026-05-18T02:06:45.000-05:00"}}
