Authors
Juliana Magro is the Research and Education Librarian at the NYU Health Sciences Library. In this role, she designs and teaches evidence-based medicine classes at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Juliana holds an MLS from Queens College (City University of New York) and an MA in linguistics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
Andrea Thompson is an MLIS student at the Pratt Institute. She holds a BA in history from Vassar College and a Ph.D. in the history of medicine from Rutgers University. She has interned at the NYU Health Sciences Library, New York Public Library, and the National Archives and Records Administration. She was previously an Alice Fisher Society fellow at the University of
Pennsylvania School of Nursing's Barbara Bates Center.
Caitlin Plovnick is the Lead for Education and Curriculum Integration at the NYU Health Sciences Library. A graduate of the Simmons University Graduate School of Library and Information Science, she has previously worked as a librarian for Seattle University, Sonoma State University, and UC Irvine.
