At its heart, the Open Education Network is a community of engaged, supportive members who are working together to transform higher education. We facilitate connections between our members so that together we can collaborate, share, and support one another’s efforts.

Community of Practice
We are a community of action. Members connect in our Google Group to ask questions, share successes and challenges, and explore ways to build and sustain their open education programs. With members in the U.S., Canada and Australia, members can brainstorm with helpful and accomplished colleagues at diverse institutions around the globe.

Colleague Connector Program
The Colleague Connector Program pairs OEN members who share similar goals and challenges with one another. The program is an opportunity for professionals to expand their network and support each other in a one-on-one setting.
Consortial Best Practices Forum
The forum is an online opportunity for consortial leaders to connect with one another about best practices. Regular drop-in meetings are scheduled to explore ideas, share experiences and ask questions about how to best scale and sustain open education initiatives at the consortial level.
Committees
As a member-driven organization there are ongoing opportunities to serve on ad hoc and standing committees. These committees shape OEN initiatives, including the annual OEN Summit, and ensure that our actions best address the community’s needs.
